| Feng Jicai is a famous writer in the contemporary literary world. People pay close attention to his literatures for unique style, different content and proud achievement. Although there is a lot of research work about his novel, changes of human nature in historic upheaval has been rarely studied. In this thesis, to interpret the kindness and ugliness of human in his literature, author has cited the description of historic upheaval basing on two type of civic and the Cultural Revolutionary novel.The thesis comprises three part of introduction, text, conclusion .it described the historic change of human nature in his novel from the study of novel feature, ups an downs of civic lifetime, distortion of human nature in the Cultural Revolution and explained the specificity of his novel creation and summarized his achievement.The introduction briefly the domestic research situation, the reason of the above proposition and Significance of research, and this research's ideas and methods.Chapter one describes the feature of his civic novel from the brief introduction of civic novel content and the reflection of traditional culture , depiction of strange in civics, depiction of details.
