Koryo celadon is not only have significant status in korea ceramic history, but also possess important position in the world ceramic history, so to clarify the birth of Early Koryo celadon is very important to differentiate the Korean celandon development situation, and also has important influence to find out the material and culture exchange with China. Early Koryo celadon, according to this text, refers to Korean peninsula produced initial celadon, the formation of Early Koryo Celadon is influenced by Chinese Yue Kiln celadons.Early Koryo celadons have similar of characteristics with Yue kiln in kiln structure, design, glaze color, sagger and burning technology, at the very start appear high level in technical skill. This text divides into four parts.1) Brief History of research In the first section, we mainly introduce the brief history of Early Koryo celadon researchedby Japanese and South Korean scholars. Research is divided into two phases, the first stage is from 1930s to the early 1980s, the second stage since the mid-80s, the theme of the production is birth period of Koryo celadon.2) The Early Koryo celadon kiln sites on the Korean Peninsula So far, the central region of Korean Peninsula was found 10 sites of brick-built kiln. This paper analysizes Furnace structure, size and unearthed relics about the Wonsan-ri site in Pongchon, So-ri site in Yongin, Pangsan-dong site in sihung, and found several common characteristics the central region of Korean Peninsula early Koryo celadon kiln sites.First, brick-build kilns, consists of the powder chamber, the kiln room, a row of combustion chamber, kiln door components, there are 6-7 kiln door; second, the initial phase of the kiln is 38-44 meters long and 1.8-2.2 meters wide, to the post size becomes smaller; third, the early Koryo celadon kiln sites were established on the original pottery kiln site or nearby.3) The shape of relics unearthed Brick-built kilns in the central region of Korean Peninsula unearthed celadon, white porcelain, black porcelain Etc, of which the main celadon. Major class of celadon is bowl, bowls, plates, lamps, light care, pots and other injection, kiln furniture, including sagger, sogger cover and sagger bottom, washers and so on. This paper analysizes various types of artifacts unearthed in the central region of the Korean Peninsula to understand the early Koryo celadon kiln in the production of objects and changes the shape characteristics of the development.4) Related issues The first part in this section investigate the birth of Early Koryo celadon period. Through the research of early Koryo celadon kiln sites, we know that the Chinese ceramic technology was enthusiastically embraced,especially in the structure, style, and firing method. According to their characteristics and inscriptions data, presumed the early Koryo celadon formation period was during the mid-10th century.The Second part of this section discuss of the background of early Koryo celadon to produce. The early Koryo celadon kiln is very similar with Yue kiln of Wu Dynasties, but it was Inconceivable at that time, Because all the kilns were in order to protect their own interests often not easily taught or advanced technology. However in order to avoid war, Yue kiln workers immigrated to the Korean Peninsula, and also under the influence of the spread of Buddhist culture spread the technology.
