Ancient Chinese is one of the basic courses of Chinese universities for the literature major, and the ancient classical Chinese vocabulary teaching is an important part of the Ancient-Chinese teaching program. Different from the other ancient-Chinese program offered by other common universities, which focused on reading skills, the program offered by Shenyang Normal University, not only pay attention on improvement of the ancient Chinese reading skills, but also build the teaching skills of the students. As the quality of vocabulary teaching raises, the whole quality of the Ancient-Chinese teaching program will rise at the same time, then the students of College of Teaching can be successful in their future career of teaching ancient Chinese in high schools. As the society develops, the ancient Chinese vocabulary teaching faces challenges caused by new situations. Hence, it is necessary to improve the quality of ancient Chinese vocabulary teaching.Paper is divided into three parts:first, in Liaoning Province, on the four ancient Chinese teaching materials using the same version of the Teacher College in Chinese Language and Literature Teachers grade students on the same sample survey, with the survey of the ancient Vocabulary Teaching in the investigation to know the relevant circumstances, including the investigation included the teaching of ancient Chinese vocabulary attitude and interest in the ancient teaching of vocabulary teaching content and teaching of ancient Chinese method of vocabulary teaching in three aspects, while the four universities selected The Four Ancient Chinese Teacher interviews about the ancient Chinese vocabulary teaching in the relevant circumstances, the interview also included the above three aspects, from the perspective of teachers teaching the importance of ancient Chinese vocabulary level, teaching materials, teaching arrangements, difficulty of teaching, teaching methods, practical issues such as adoption and made further investigation and understanding. Secondly, the analysis of the current teachers teaching Chinese vocabulary of ancient main problems and their causes, including some teachers and students attitude towards teaching of ancient Chinese vocabulary is not active, the ancient Chinese did not highlight the key content vocabulary teaching, teaching methods of ancient Chinese words the old one. This result for many reasons, including the ancient understanding of the importance of vocabulary teaching in a deviation on the ancient understanding of the purpose of teaching Chinese vocabulary biased, the ancient Chinese word for innovative methods of teaching shortage. Finally, teachers of ancient Chinese vocabulary teaching problems, puts forward corresponding countermeasures:changes in teachers of ancient Chinese vocabulary teaching ideas, clearly teachers of ancient Chinese vocabulary teaching points, by focusing on teachers teaching the special nature of Selected teaching and general theory of teaching combined, drawing on the theoretical knowledge of related disciplines, relatively flexible use of teaching methods and appropriate use of modern teaching methods to improve the normal vocabulary of ancient Chinese teaching methods.
