Said's anti-essentialism has a profound implication: "anti" is a theoretical way, "anti" is not the purpose, but to construct a new concept which is different from the traditional literature. As to the secular literature, in fact, it is planted to explore the relevance of literature and history, emphasize the social context of literature, and give prominence to"worldliness"which means that the text, literature and culture are among the world, get involved with the rights, status and interests, so the literary is never pure.
