Wang Kuo-wei (1877-1927),An outstanding academic achievement giant in our modern literature, aesthetics, history, philosophy, ancient texts, archaeological and other aspects, went to Japan three times, acceptive foreign ideas positively,Also he was a late Qing Dynasty scholar, he was loyalty to Qing Dynasty all over his life. He has worked in the "Chinese Learning Series", and in the "preface" he proposed the point of "no old scholar, no West or East, no useful or useless". Wang Kuo-wei's idea is the product that was fiercly collisioned and integrated of the Chinese and the Western. Around his idea, for a long time,there are many studies and involving all his academic aspect. His early literature criticism made a great influence to his late literature criticism, however,the study is very little. Carefuly study Wang Kuo-wei's early literature criticism, is very valuable for us to understand the late literature criticism and the Western component in it. In this article we will mainly discusses the question from the following aspects:First, we give a definition in Wang Kuo-wei's early literature criticism for which is "early" and which is "literature criticism",and introduce the "Bridge of Japan",which made a great influence to Wang Kuo-wei's literature criticism; Second, it introduces a Literary Criticism of Wang Kuo-wei, the "truth" of literary criticism;Then, the article discuss the definition of "involution" in Wang Kuo-wei's early literature criticism;At last,the writer believe that Wang Kuo-wei's early literature criticism have been greatly influenced by Kant Schopenhauer,Herbert Spencer,Schiler and others, his early literature criticism, is integreated of Eastern and Western culture, is the embryo of his late "Realm", "Game",it also have an great influence for his late literature criticism.
