Review Of Study On Network Language In China From 2000 To 2009

Based on the rapid development of network language in China, current sit uations of network language from 2000 to 2009 are analyzed from the perspect ive of remarkable results, variety of research groups, widening of research scop e, and improved research methods. Problems are identified, such as more repea ted research, less innovation; research perspective and scope needing changed o r widening; research methods needing improving; lack of cooperation and organ ization and etc.Seven subjects are emphasized in the essay, including the definition, types, research characteristics, shaping factors and influences, culture research of net work language, normative study, rhetoric and grammar of network language. So me representative ideas are listed and evaluated. The trend of network languag e is mentioned, such as the diversification of study perspective, more research methods, strengthening of study cooperation, organization and coordination.In recent ten years, great achievement has been gained in terms of networ k language. The growth of net language can satisfy the need of network com munication. The prospect of network language study is bright.
