The Study On Ren Jing Tolerance Culture

Chinese Tolerance culture is an important part of traditional culture, and is one of the salient features of Chinese culture. Tolerance is the center of Tolerance culture, including the psychological mechanism of tolerance, the ideas of tolerance, the words and deeds of tolerance and so on. Chinese people advocate tolerance and are good at tolerance. But at present Tolerance culture is not widespread concerned, the research is rather dispersive and fragmented, there is plenty of room to continue mining.Ren Jing is a book about tolerance, the author is Wu Liang in Yuan Dynasty. The content includes the famous aphorisms and celebrity anecdotes, and folk proverbs before the Yuan Dynasty. The meaning of the emergence of Ren Jing is significant, from Ren Jing, you can explore the cultural development of Chinese Tolerance culture, because its scheduling order is accordance with the dynasty largely, you can see more clearly about the changes of tolerance in various dynasties. Ren Jing is a summary of Chinese Tolerance culture in a certain stage, and is a connecting link between the preceeding and the following. Although Ren Jing has the important reference value, but now the study of Ren Jing is few, only a few papers occasionally mentioned, let alone do a comprehensive analysis and discuss on it.This paper focuses on Ren Jing to start. The first part of the paper discusses the reasons of the formation of Ren Jing and the reason why it is anonymous. Among them, it is very critical that Ren Jing appeared in the Yuan Dynasty, the fate of intellectuals were under the twists and turns in the foreign rulers of the dynasty, tolerance became a choice. The second part of the text analyz its content construction, roughly including two dimensionalities, first is officialdom, second is the folk. The third part is on the basic of the first and the second one, concludes five characteristics of the tolerance culture in Ren Jing , gives the full explaination according to Ren Jing . The emergence of Ren Jing affects another book which is about tolerance named Quan Ren 100 Antichrist, the relationship between these two books will be researched in this part. The fourth part will be expanded to view the whole Chinese culture of tolerance, and do the reflection.This paper uses multiple methods. In the analysis of "tolerance", I use the method of contradiction, the method of the combination of internal and external factors, and the statistical method to study roundly. Tolerance culture contains a wealth of psychology, ethnics,anthropology, philosophy ,culture and other disciplines of knowledge.China has a long history of tolerance culture. Although Ren Jing has only 173 entries, it contains the typical words and things about tolerance before the Yuan Dynasty in the history, and has representative and important literature value. Study on the cultural content of Ren Jing is a complement of traditional Chinese culture. In a certain extent, it can do better to carry forward the fine cultural traditions of ancient. In addition, Ren Jing is close to the actual reasoning, easy to operate and has some practical value and practical significance. But at the same time, because of tolerance has double-sided nature, we must give a profound criticism on the negative impact of tolerance.
