Study On The Examples Of Degree Adverb In Modern Chinese Dictionary

Content:In recent years, with the continued development of compiling theory, dictionary examples gradually get rid of the position of explanation appendage, it has become an indispensable part of the dictionary, and it is more important to the words which have poor semantic or rich grammatical functions. But now it is unsatisfied for the study of language dictionary examples, a large amount of articles often evaluate examples, point out the problem of the dictionary or concern notional instances, and they are more inclined to macro angle of the type and quantity and principle of examples, it is rare to study some words examples of language dictionary at the micro angle.Under the guidance of compiling theory and three plane theory, this paper, learning to the leaner's dictionary, In-depth study examples of "Modern Chinese Dictionary", and mainly uses the methods of comparison with the use of dictionaries, combination with the overall and sample analysis, combination with synchronic and diachronic, hoping to provide some reference comments for language dictionary amendments.This thesis analyzes the examples of "Modern Chinese Dictionary" both from diachronic and synchronic sides respectively:The first part——From the overall comparison with adverbs of degree of "Modern Chinese Dictionary" 1-5 version from the diachronic respect, we compare the received words and the number and the type of adverbs of degree, and summarize four changes about their examples: examples reduction, example addition, examples modification and examples comprehensive changes.The second part——Through the comparative study about the sampling analysis with adverbs of degree of "Modern Chinese Dictionary" 5th version from the point of view of Synchronic perspective and the examples′grammatical information with Applied Chinese Dictionary and Beijing University Corpus. The frequency and degree as the criteria, we choose high-frequency words and frequency words and low frequency words primarily basing on Frequency of the top 8000 vocabularies in Modern Chinese Frequency Dictionary.On the basis of the above, we sum up the amendatory changes and the existing problems about adverbs of degree in "Modern Chinese Dictionary", and provide some suggestions. Finally, we advance four-point proposals about principle with examples: Unity, orderly, practical, scientific.
