In China,in the Music education field no one ever make a theoretical research of the nonverbal language symbols which carried in the music teaching, at present days. And many papers at some degree is a kind of empirical summary. The author takes a more careful observation and analysis and makes a summary of some theory problem about the nonverbal symbols in the music teaching practice.This paper is based on The 29th International Socidty Music Education (ISME) World Conference workshop as the research object, with the help of the nonverbal symbols theory,this thesis make a preliminary analysis of the practical application of linguistic signs in music teaching and the theoretical construction .This article has four chapters. First, the part of introduction makes a reviewed of the origin research problems, the study object, and described the research methods and purposes. The first chapter gives an analysis of the nonverbal linguistic signs in music teaching activities. The second chapter makes a congress description and analysis from the angle of the nonverbal symbols used in the teaching world (rhythm teaching, listening teaching, and imitating teaching). The third chapter makes a case description and analysis (the use of posture, costume, graphic video, and the use of situational display).The purpose of this research paper is expected to strengthen the cognitive ability, thinking ability and the application ability of teachers and students in the music teaching and learning, and aimed to provide some effective teaching methods, and enhance the teaching effect, make a better implementation to realize the classroom teaching goals.
