Study Of The Thought And Poem Creation Of Xue Shaohui, Fujian Female Poet In Qing Dynasty

As an influential female writer of the end of the Qing Dynasty, except for professor Linyi, studies on Xue mostly start from her identity as a translator in the field of the exchange between Chinese and western culture, not pay too much attention on her literature creation. But the recognition of her as a female intellectual of modern times and the complicated process and the contradiction of her inner heart as well as the influence on her literature creation exerted by the change of her thought and creation can not be ignored. Therefore I chose Xue Shaohui as the object of my thesis.Based on the previous achievements, especially with the reference of Professor Linyi's profound study on Xue's life,character and thought, this thesis discusses the complex and contradiction of Xue's thought, and also try to analyze the forming cause of what we see her today is the interaction of "self recognition" and "social recognition", that is the effect of traditional female education and specific social and family environment. Meanwhile, based on< Xue Shao Hui Ji>, mainly analyzes the art style of her poem creation, concludes her diversity art style from several aspects of gentle,bold,solemn and nature, futher illustrates her status among the female poets during the end of the Qing Dynasty.The thesis tries to hold a philosopher's attitude, take a method of combining the intensive reading and culture criticism, and tries to rebuild real connection of the writer, the literature and the outside world, enrich and deepen people's realization of Chinese modern society and history, both respecting the tradition of intensive reading and holding a cultural criticism vision.
