With the development at top speed of society, the connection of city, the lifestyle of people and themselves are all in revolutions. Sign design is not only the direction board of finding the way, but also the important element to communicating the culture of one area, one city, and one company, It's more and more to be the soul of public area and environment. The aim of this essay is to solve the atmosphere building and the service giving through the expansion of Sign design.In this paper, we propose the mode of multi-dimensional conveying in Sign design as an entry point to explore the oriented design's possibilities of intersecting, overlapping, transforming, and integrating within various ways, through the two-dimensional, three-dimensional visual extension for ontological dimension, as well as the analysis of its modes such as media vector dimension, psychological dimension, technological dimension, Human-oriented Dimension.This paper is based on both theory and method extension in Sign design, altering the Sign design patterns, meanwhile taking absorbing from other disciplines into account and then making use of their conformity, therefore bringing more factors into the realm of design, insisting multidimensional mode of information dissemination nowadays, researching the law of various means by which the spacial Sign design be conducted. This paper is intended to expand dimension category of the design-oriented, and through a large number of excellent design case on the relevant design methods to be explored and summed up, hoping to obtain a new ideal of Sign design concepts.
