Design Of Informition Transmission Based On Multi-dimensional Form Of Books

Books are the products of the culture. They are the information carriers which transmit the ideas from one or more authors to readers, and meanwhile play the role of information transfer among nature, culture, art, society and people. With the development of society, new technologies andmultimedias brought us to a virtual world where is constituted by digital information. As the requirements from readers on the ways of reading are gradually high, emerged book design became necessary in the field of art. How to make the traditional book design meet the reading demands of the modern audiences has become an important task for designers. In this paper, we attempt to apply the concept of multi-dimensional overall information design into the field of book design, referring to a theory of holographic philosophy which tells the dialectical relationship of overall and part, part and part are responded and including same information, starting from the book form, and combined with the related theory of graphic design and book design to explore the multi-dimensional information transfer design methods of the book design.
