The happening and development of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) can be affected by environment and inheritance facters. The morbidity and mortality rate of COPD is ascending year by year, becoming a severe public health problem around the world.. Some symptoms such as dyspea,limit of activity has declined patients'live quality, besides, long term in medicine and repeat hospitalization burden the family and society heavily. Health education intervention is a effective and economic method on the basis of routine therapy and nursing of COPD. Effective health education intervention alleviate the burden of patients and family, descend the rate of hospitalization, decrease the number of days and expense in hospital, ascend the livality of COPD, extend lifetime, improve patients'live quality.This research follows up COPD patients ,who are devided into control group and intervene group, on two time points including on admission and a month after live hospital, with the format of questionnaire survey. Take routine nurse care and health education to the control group, other wise, systemic and pertinence health education intervention to the other group, then compare the health education intervention's effect on patients'live quality in different groups, thus providing reliable evidence for improving and perfecting clinic health education measure. Establish a database including the survey results of two group in Excel, than analyse with SPSS13.0 statistical software, in which measurement data is analysed by t test, enumeration data by x2 test.The difference in age,gender,degree of education,marital status,expense in hospital of two groups, have not statistic meaning(P>0.05 in t test), so this two group have comparability. When the patients in two groups are on admission, their eight facets in SF-36 Live Quality Scale have nice comparability ,through t test, P>0.05.Follow up patients of control and intervene groups on facets in SF-36 Live Quality Scale after they live hospital for a month through t test. The result shows: except physiology function ,whose P>0.05 in t test, no significant difference, intervene group got higher score than control group on other facets of SF-36 Live Quality Scale. This result proves that health education intervention can affect patients'live quality positively.Compare the result of admission and a month after live hospital of patients in intervene group: a variety of facets including physiology function,body ache,common health condition,energy,society function,emotion function,psychological health have changed obviously through intervention. This result proves that health education intervention can affect patients'live quality, Systematic and pertinence health education intervention, which is different from routine health intervention, can improve patients'live quality.
