To analyze the risk factor of malignant glaucoma after trabeculectomy in primary angle closure glaucoma. Method: Three hundred and forty three patients four hundred and fifty-five eyes with primary angle closure glaucoma we performed trabeculectomy. Age,sex,the type of anterior chamber anterior length of chamber,the thickness of lens,the length of eye axis were recorded and compared those who developed malignant glaucoma after operations and those undeveloped. Results: Ten patients twelve eyes developed maligment glaucoma after trabeculectomy. The thickness of lens is thicker than the eyes those undeveloped. The angle of anterior chamber and the type of primary anger closure glaucoma are not same. Conclusion: Patients of PACG developed maligment glaucoma is relative to its anatomy.
