The Clinical Data Analysis Of Varicella Patients

Objective To further understand the prevalence and clinical characteristics of varicella, in order to facilitate a better development of control measures.Method Application of epidemiological methods statistics a total of 486 cases of varicella in-patients in January 2006-2009 year in November of Chongqing Medical University Children's Hospital, and use the Excel 2003 software,chi-square test and median law on data analysis and processing.Results (1)The number of cases of varicella hospitalization are more every year.Although both occur throughout the year, but most cases of varicella hospitalization is 5-7 months. male-female ratio is 1.36:1, with a male predominance. All age groups have the disease, in particular 3 to 7 years of age.Urban and rural areas have the disease, urban-rural ratio is 1.45:1, city inpatients were more than rural areas.(2) 486 cases of varicella in-patients, 163 cases of clear contact history(33.54%),no contact history in 307 cases(63.17%),and 16 cases contact history dimness. 15 cases of varicella vaccination immunity history(3.09%),no varicella vaccination immunity history in 458 cases(94.24%),and 13 cases varicella vaccination immunity history dimness.(3) 486 cases of varicella in-patients, 451 cases of ordinary varicella (92.8%), neonatal varicella in 11 cases (2.26%), severe varicella in 24 patients (4.94%).377 cases of sick children with complications, and the majority of skin infection (54.12%).231 cases were cured (47.53%); improvement in 251 cases (51.65%); death in 4 cases (0.82%).Conclusion varicella is very extensive.varicella harm done to children can not be belittled,many hospitalized patients each year from varicella, and varicella deaths often occur, focus on children in primary and preschools do a comprehensive population control measures to improve the varicella vaccination rate is a serious problem now.
