Clinical Analysis Of 68 Patients With Peripheral Pseudoaneurysm

Objective: To investigate the etiopathogenisis, diagnosis and treatment of peripheral pseudoaneurysm in order to improve the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral pseudoaneurysm.Methods: Retrospective1y analyzed the data of 68 patients with peripheral pseudoaneurysm from may 2005 to september 2009 treated in our department.Results:Drug injection was the most important cause of peripheral pseudoaneurysm, surger was the predominant treatment ( embolotherapy in 3 cases under DSA, direct repair in 11 cases, autogenous vein or artificial blood vessel transplantation in 12 , arterial end-to-end anastomosis in 2, arterial ligation or transfixion in 39, amputation in 1 ). All the cases were cued and no operative death.Conclusions: Peripheral pseudoaneurysm could be cured if accurate diagnosis and proper surgical therapy were provided in time, and the prognosis would be good.
