Objective To investigate the prognosis factors, therapy and clinical manifestations of primary gastric non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Methods The clinical and pathological data of 51 patients with primary gastric non-Hodgkin lymphoma were reviewed. The clinical data were analyzed by log-rank, COX and Kaplan-Meier method. Results Histopathological types of 51 patients were classified into 23 (45.1%) of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma, 17 (33.3%) of diffuse large B cell lymphoma, 1(2.0%)of lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma, 3 (5.9%) of T cell type and 7(13.7%) of non-specific type, respectively. Thirty-four(66.7%)patients were in stageâ… andâ…¡,and seventeen(33.3%) in stageâ…¢andâ…£. The overall survival rates at 5 years was 47.1%. Univariate analysis showed that patients with LDH≥240U/L(p=0.001), clinical stage≥Ⅲ(p=0.002)and IPI score≥3(p=0.002) had poorer prognosis. Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma had better remission than others. Multivariate analysis showed LDH was independent prognostic factor. Conclusion The majority of primary gastric lymphoma is mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma, and the prognosis is better remission than others. The prognosis of patients with LDH≥240U/L is poorer than other patients. Chemotherapy-dominated modality is recommended for patients with PGNHL. |
