Purpose:The topic proposed by the joint self-made traditional Chinese medicine with acupoint catgut embedding Differential Treatment of Melasma Oral clinical observation, for the treatment of melasma to find an effective way, melasma related to epidemiological data collected, further exploration of its pathogenesis, and the mechanism of acupoint catgut embedding therapy research.Methods:100 patients were selected from a hospital in Wuhan specialist out-patient dermatology melasma, and in accordance with the subject of case inclusion criteria,60 cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group of 40. Patients divided according to TCM syndrome differentiation type and liver-kidney Qi stagnation blood stasis type, a comparative study.Treatment group, according to TCM Syndrome Differentiation group side, Qi stagnation blood stasis type, Xiaoyaosan addition and subtraction, liver and kidney type, Liu Wei Di Huang Wan and Er Zhi Wan, a daily, two morning and evening use, every time 100ml; Acupoint catgut embedding once every 15 days, dialectical selecting points; treatment for 3 months. The control group were Chinese Herbs, group parties and use the same as the treatment group. The treatment group and control group, patient's age, duration, conditions and other basic data points no statistical significant difference (P>0.05), shows the two groups were comparable。After treatment according to clinical efficacy, disease changes in points assessed by statistical analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of a treatment. The Results:1. The overall efficacy comparison:the treatment group cured 11 cases, effective in 26 cases,18 cases improved, ineffective in 5 cases, the total effective rate 91.67%; the control group healed in 6 cases,17 cases markedly, improvement in 8 cases,9 cases invalid, the total effective rate 77.5%, by chi-square test, P<0.01, treatment group shows significantly better than the control group.2. Illness and the decline in index points:the treatment group disease score, pre-treatment 4.26±1.67, after treatment 2.35±1.43, decreased index of 0.53±0.16; control group, disease score, pre-treatment 4.15±1.53, after treatment 3.31±1.45, down index 0.32±0.25. The t test, treatment group and control group after treatment and decreased index points, both P<0.01, significant differences also indicate efficacy of the treatment group than the control group. Conclusion:Melasma is one of dermatology common diseases, which are pigmented skin obstacle, at present not yet fully understand the pathogenesis, clinical treatment of the many. Through the body condition prior to the onset in some patients, the condition, with symptoms, treatment progress in the analysis, saying that "stasis" in the pathogenesis of melasma has an important role in, or blood stasis can not be on the wing surface, or blood deficiency, blood stasis caused by inability to run, facial dystrophy, so the surface of Health plaques, treatment focuses on "stasis freckle". But also that the acupuncture points in patients with catgut-embedding may be by regulating the levels and enhancing immune function, endocrine and other mechanisms to achieve treatment goals. This study shows that a joint self-made traditional Chinese medicine with acupoint catgut embedding Differential Treatment of melasma apparent efficacy, and clinical use have not yet found no adverse reactions, this method of combining acupuncture and Chinese herbs, simple, safe and effective, should be widely used.
