[Abstract] Objective:Through the observation of recovery of bowel sounds and the first time of flatus and defecation in gastric cancer patients after total gastrectomy, to evaluate the effect of Da Cheng Qi Decoction combined with mosapride On Recovery of Gastrointestinal Function,to guide the promotion of gastrointestinal function of postoperative gastric cancer patients in clinical practice.Methods:All 80 cases were patients who underwent total Gastrectomy at the Department of Oncology, Affiliated Hospital of Putian University from March 2008 to January 2010. Patients were divided into three groups randomly:Group A:Da Cheng Qi Decoction combined mosapride group; Group B:mere mosapride than profit group, Group C:control group. By Observing and analyzing thee the recovery of bowel sounds and the first time of flatus and defecation of these cases,to find if there were differences among these three groups.Results1.There were no significant differences among these three groups in age,gender,anesthesia methods,pathological stage and operation time. (all p>0.05).2. Three groups of cases of postoperative recovery time of bowel sounds, the first time, exhaust, defecation time, significant differences (p<0.05). Da Cheng Qi Decoction combined with mosapride group had an earlier recovery of bowel sounds and the first time of flatus and defecation than pure mosapride group and control group (p<0.05).Conclusions:Da Cheng Qi Decoction combined with mosapride can promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function in postoperative gastric cancer patients.
