Research On The Oral TCM Decoction To The Recovery Of Gastrointestinal Function After Gynecologicalabdominal Operation

ObjectiveIn order to develop the oral TCM decoction in the gastronintestinal function after gynecologicalabdominal operation, we sort, conclude and select the oral TCM decoction systematically by eviewing literature on TCM and retrospective analyzing clinical cases.MethodsRetrieved from January 1,1994 to April 23,2016 in CNKI、Wanfang、CBM、 Pubmed 4 databases of oral TCM decoction promoting the recovery of gastrointestinal function after gynecologicalabdominal operation literature. According to inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,13 documents meet the inclusion criteria in 363 and take information by content analysis. Study 285 clinical cases of patients from December 2012 to January 2014 who accepted abdominal operation classified hysterectomy or subtotal hysterectomy in the department of Gynaecology, which belong to Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine.332 continuous clinical cases were included from electronic patient record. Summarize the clinical oral TCM decoction for promotion the recovery of gastrointestinal function after gynecologicalabdominal operation.Results1.363 documents were retrieved through the literature search. On the basis of inclusion criteria, eliminate the duplicate and those against the criteria or incomplete,13 documents in line with the relevant requirements were included in the study. Analyzed the effect of oral TCM decoction on gastrointestinal function after gynecologicalabdominal operation and the positive results were proved.2. Clinical data of 332 cases of hysterectomy or subtotal hysterectomy operation were retrospecively analysed. The cases of activating qi and clean away heat to relaxing were 127, the cases of regulating qi-flowing for strengthening spleen to relaxing were 173, and the cases without oral TCM decoction were 32.Conclusion1.Oral TCM decoction promoting abdominal postoperative gastrointestinal functional recovery has the efficacy. The rules of treatment concludes activating qi and clean away heat to relaxing, regulating qi-flowing for strengthening spleen to relaxing.2.The literatuers of the usage of oral TCM decoction were scattered. Summarizing the literature study showed that the oral TCT decoction could promote recovery of gastrointestinal function after gynecological abdominal operation.3. Because the literature of methodological quality was low, which might exist publication bias. For further objectively evaluating efficacy and safety of the oral TCM decoction after abdominal postoperation, which need higher quality and more rigorous prospective randomized controlled clinical research.4.332 clinical cases of patients showed that oral TCT decoction could promote the first postoperative exhaust, defecation time and duration of fever, ruduce the rate of abdominal pain and bloating, the rate of nausea and vomiting.
