Objective:1To investigate the expression of C-erbB-2,cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2), Estrogen Receptor (ER)and Progesterone Receptor(PR) in the breast carcinoma, and the relationship of COX-2,ER and PR with the clinical patho-characteristic and survival rate.2 To detect the HER-2 expression at the protein and gene level and compare the methods of examining..Methods:IHC in the tissue array was used to detect the expression of protein of C-erbB-2,COX-2, ER and PR in the 96 tissue of breast carcinoma and COX-2 in the 25 tissue of Breast Adenosis. FISH and CISH with the tissue array was used to detect the amlification of HER-2 in the 96 cases of breast carcinoma and they were followed up.Results:COX-2 positive expression rate in the patients with breast carcinoma was significant higher than that of Breast Adenosis (P=0.0000) There was significant relationship between COX-2 protein positive expression and lymphatic metastasis, Bloom-Richardom grade(P<0. 05). COX-2 positive expression rate in the HR+HER-2+ patients is higher than the others. (x2=7.9882 P<0.05). There was significant relationship between ER and PR protein positive expression rate (χ2=7.8978,P<0.05),respectively 55.21% and.45.83%.PR expression was correlated with the survival rate of the breast carcinoma but COX-2 or ER wasn't.it's significant accordant between the result of the expression of protein of C-erbB-2 and amlification of HER-2 (K=0.8682).Conclusions:COX-2 and PR is related to the prognosis and of the breast carcinoma. Tissue array can be used for FISH and CISH,but CISH is less effective than FISH.
