| Objective:To study whether or not Zhuanggu Granula could accelerate the union of rabbit radial fracture.Method:Forty two mature New Zealand rabbits,3mm bone defects were made in the middle of left radial of each rabbit as fracture model.Forty two rabbits were randomly assigned to 3group, Zhuanggu Granula group,Shangke jiegu tablet group,Saline group. Administration began on the first day after surgery. X-ray imaging was performed to assess the effect at the end of the 4th,6th,8th week;Pathology examinations were performed at the end of the 4th,8th week.Result:Semi-quantitative analysis of X-ray imaging showed callus formation were much earlier in Zhuanggu Granula group than that in Shangke jiegu tablet group and Saline group(p<0.05).Collagen I expressions in Zhuanggu Granula group were more significantly increased then that in Shangke jiegu tablet group and Saline group(p<0.05).Conclusion:Zhuanggu Granula can accelerate the union of rabbit radial fracture. |
