Objective:To identify the effection of Injection Xueshuantong in Hyperviscosity in AECOPD patients, to analyze the influence on arterial blood gas analysis in AECOPD, and to evaluate its safety.Methods:60 AECOPD patients, recruited from respiratory medical ward of Wuhan NO.1 Hospital from August 2008 to August 2009, Were Randomly divided into treatment group and control group. The control group was applied therapy with anti-infective, eliminating sputum, bronchodilation, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation if necessary. Treatment group was administrated injection Xueshuantong besides above-mentioned therapy. laboratory indicators as follow:high shear whole blood viscosity, low shear whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, HCT, SO2 and PO2 were detected before and after treatment.Meanwhile, liver function, kidney function and blood glucose (GIU) were Detected and compared before and after treatment to evaluate the drug safty.Results:1. Treating AECOPD patients with Injection Xueshuantong based on the Western treatment. The laboratory parameters before and after treatment in both groups had improved and the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05). From the treatment group and control group, the high-shear whole blood viscosity, S02 and P02 of treatment group improved more than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05)2. Xueshuantong injection before and after treatment in the treatment of AECOPD. Comparison of liver and kidney function before and after treatment and blood glucose, the difference was not significant (p>0.05)Conclusion:Xueshuantong injection could improve the high-viscosity syndrome in AECOPD patients, and improve arterial partial pressure of oxygen, with good effect and safety.
