Objective:To observe the effect of TCM Nourishing Yin and the blood on patients with Yin deficiency and hemopenia type of ovarian function reserves decline. It always happens in women between the ages of 18-40. Patients with less menstruation, extended menstrual cycle, light color and thin qualitative, even amenorrhea. Accompanied by lumbar debility, insomnia, dizziness tinnitus, irritability, hot flush sweat, palpitation, fatigue strength etc perimenopausal symptoms. These symptoms, little attention had been paid to by former scholars. In recent years, some scholars'studies show that patients with ovarian function reserves decline without early intervention, will became ovarian premature senility in 1-6 years. Therefore, the early ovarian function reserves estimating, timely treatment of ovarian function decline, eliminating causes, and improving symptoms are problems to be solved by gynaecologist presently. The author screened 30 patients diagnosis of ovarian function reserves decline based on clinical. Then treated with nourishing Yin and the blood, judged its effect on adjusting menstruation, improving the clinical symptoms and laboratory results. Hope to explore an effective ways in preventing premature ovarian and slowing down the decline of ovarian function by TCM.Methods:Ovarian reserve function decline was proposed in recent years. Currently, there have no generally accepted, precise and effective interventions for the disease by using Traditional Chinese and Western medicine. We used self-control methods in this test.30 cases diagnosis of ovarian function reserves decline all were old gynecological expert's outpatients from July 2008 to December 2009. These patients all take nourishing yin soup one prescription a day, oral twice after water decocting. Observing and recording symptom scores, menstruation, total points before and after three cycles' treatment. Blood from patients in the first 2-3 days of the menstrual cycle, or B ultrasonic inspection clewed there have no advantage follicular in bilateral annex (follicles diameter less than 0.8 cm). Basic Luteinizing Hormone (bLH), basic Follicle Stimulating Hormone(bFSH) and basic Estradiol(bE2) were tested using radiation immune method. And FSH/LH ratio was also calculated.Results(1) Compared with treatment before, three symptom scores of patients'light color and thin qualitative, insomnia, palpitation decreased significantly, (P<0.05) seven symptom scores of patients' menstrual period, little menstrual quantity, lumbar debility, dizziness tinnitus, hot flush sweat, irritability, fatigue strength declined obviously, the difference was statistically significant after treatment. (P<0.01) (2)Compared with treatment before, total syndromes score was also decreased after treatment. (P<0.01). Curative effect of TCM symptoms change include 2 cases cured,5 cases excellent,18 cases valid,5 cases invalid, and the total effective rate is 83.33%. (3) Compared with treatment before, patients'menstruation improved significantly, including 3 cases recovery,9 cases excellent,13 cases valid,5 cases invalid, and the total effective rate is 83.33%. (4) Compared with treatment before, the patients'basic LH,basic FSH,basic E2, and value of FSH/LH are obviously decreased (P<0.01).ConclusionIt have reliable effect that using Nourishing Yin and the blood to treat Yin deficiency and hemopenia type of ovarian function reserves decline. It can be an effective way to preventing premature ovarian and slowing down the decline of ovarian function by TCM.
