The Dependablity Study Of The Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Protrusion And The Traditional Chinese Constitution

The constitution refers to the general,relative stability inherent characteristics that contains morphological structure,physiological function, physiological state which is formative on the base of inherent natural endowment and acquired through ones life,it is human personality characteristics that to be in step with nature and social environment during the process of growth.The constitution reflect individual difference of structure,function,metabolism and response to external stimulation,it also reflect the affectability of origin of a disease and disease and the proneness during the progress of disease. Lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion(LIDP) is nucleus pulpous loses its water content as part of the aging process.External force cause a displacement of the disc's center and break the annulus fibrosus.The herniated lumbar disc compresses the nerves,blood vessels and spinal cord to cause pain in the lumbar region and numbness,tin-gling or weakness of the leg.Constitution effect the cause,treat and prog of the lubar intervertebral disc protrusion. This topic through the study of the constitution types of the patients of LIDP,get the message of the disposition of constitution,in order to improve the prevention,control,diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of the disease.Purpose:Approach the relationship between LIDP and traditional Chinese constitution through theoretical research and clinical investigations.Analysis the traditional Chinese constitution types of the patients of LIDP.Improve constitution in order to prevent the cause of LIDP.Method:Investigate from the theoretical research and clinical investigations two respects. The theoretical research has approach the feature of constitution,the contribution of constitution in order to preclude diseases,and the relationship of constitution and LIDP.The clinical investigations is investigated to adopt "the constitution scale questionnaire of Chinese medicine"on the basis of the theoretical research,carry out the constitution types of 150cases of LIDP who are on a clear diagnosis in Fuzhou, get the message of the disposition of constitution.Result:Through the statistical results of 150 patients,the number of the constitution of ecchymosis is 39,the mumber of the constitution of lacking of yang is 32,the number of the constitution of phlegm and heat is 24, the mumber of the the constitution of phlegm is 15, the mumber of the the constitution of lacking of yin is 15,the mumber of the the constitution of lacking of Qi is 10, the mumber of balanceable constitution is 5,the mumber of the the constitution of tebing is 2, Respectively of the total number of 26.0%,21.3%,16.0%,10.0%,10.0%,6.7%,5.3%,3.3%,1.3%.The number of male of the constitution of ecchymosis is 24,while the number of female is 15;The number of male of the constitution of the constitution of lacking of yang is 11,while the number of female is 21;The number of male of the constitution of the constitution of phlegm and heat isl6, while the number of female is 8.Conclusion:9 kinds of traditional Chinese constitution types generally exist in patients of LIDP. the constitution of ecchymosis, the constitution of lacking of yang,the constitution of phlegm and heat are main kinds of traditional Chinese constitution types of the patients of LIDP in Fuzhou.The construction of constitution have gender differences, traditional Chinese constitution effect the type of syndrome of the LIDP.
