The most precious is life. Education is the activity to guarantee healthy life and improve life quality. Life education has become a new hotspot for research. As a task early life education is the basis and the evolution. In life education disease is easily accessible to young children. Study on cognitive characteristics of children about disease will help to propose the strategy to promote early life education in dimensions of health and disease.This study consists of two following parts:The first part is the literature research.We reviewed recent results in life eduction and children cognition of disease, described the meaning of life education and the content of life education in dimensions of health and disease, analyzed the related research and research paradigm of Piaget's cognitive development theory and naive theory. These provided hypotheses and theoretical basis for the later empirical research.The second part is empirical research.Firstly, based on experiments we researched the cognitive characteristics of infants in middle class on infectious disease, measured their definition of the concept of infectious disease, their explanation of the etiology of infectious disease, their cognition of the infectious disease control and their understanding of the contagious disease. We analyzed the difference between kindergartens with research results. Then through questionnaires we investigated the source of infancy cognition of infectious disease and the present situation of parents' and teachers'education on epidemic prevention and cure. And with results we analyzed influence factors of infancy cognition of infectious disease. Finally, with these studies we propose the strategy to promote early life education in dimensions of health and disease.Combined with existing research and integrated three empirical studies, Early life education is a system education in society. We should integrate kindergarten, family and society educational resources to promote the early life education in health and disease dimension. Our children will learn how to prevent and treat the disease in a positive response, understand the life and grow more healthily.
