| Objectives:1,To investigate the nursing need,quality of life and the relationship between the two status of inpatients with AIDS and analyse the effective factors.2,To work out a nursing need intervention programs based on the status of the inpatients with AIDS and the relevant literature.3,To discuss the application of nursing need intervention on the quality of life of the inpatients with AIDS.Methods:1,64 inpatients with AIDS who had been in hospital for more than ten weeks were taken by convenient sampling from some epidemic hospital in Fujian province from May of 2009 to January of 2010.Using self-made questionnaire to collect the basic information of AIDS. Adopt the"inpatients nursing need questionnair"to measur the inpatients'nursing need.Adopt the"World Health Organization Quality of Life Scale"(WHOQOL-100) to investigate the status quo of the quality of life of patients. Using purposive sampling to select 10 patients for Phenomenological method research.Using semi-structured interviewing directions in order to explore the emotional feelings of inpatients with AIDS by face to face talks. Phenomenological method was adopted to collect,analyse and sort out the data. Using descriptive statistic,independent sample T test and so on to study the quality of life status of inpatients with AIDS.Combine the quantitative and qualitative research together to analyse the effective factors of quality of life.Using Pearson correlation analysis to study the correlation of quality of life and nursing need of inpatients with AIDS.2,Adopt time-based nonrandom pair experimental study to bring into 60 inpatients with AIDS(30 pairs) directed by holistic nursing theory.The matching condition are age,marriage,HIV stage and nursing level.The patients of control group are only received routine care.Intervention group patients received nursing intervention aimed at nursing need in addition to routine care.Through the baseline survey and after eight weeks'nursing need intervention,re-collect datas by evaluating questionnair and compare the score indicators change of the all fields of quality of life between inpatients with AIDS of two groups. X2 test was used to compare base constitute condition of two groups.Adopt paired-sample T test to compare the change of scores of the all aspects and areas of quality of life of the two groups.Use independent-sample T test to compare the scores of the two groups after intervention.Results:1,The quality of life level of inpatients with AIDS is lower than the average level. Physical symptoms, negative psychology,the strangeness of the environment,lack of related knowledges as well as the family social support were the major factors of the quality of life .2,The score index of nursing needs of inpatients with AIDS are in high level .The top three are self-relized needs,physical needs as well as love and belonging needs.The nursing needs of inpatients with AIDS are negative related to the quality of life as well as the psychological,physical ande independeant field.They all have statistical significant.3,Work out a nursing need intervention program for inpatients with AIDS according to common inpatients with AIDS'nursing needs and the content of all areas of quality of life,and summary a nursing need intervention process chat.4,Apply nursing need intervention progranms to inpatients with AIDS.(1)The result shows that :the scores of all aspects except spiritual aspect of quality of life ,the overall rating score and the total score of intervention group improve after intervention .There are significant differences(P﹤0.05).(2) The result shows that: the scores of physical,social relation ande environment field, overall rating of quality of life of control group improve after intervention.There are significant differences(P﹤0.05).(3) The result shows that :the scores of all aspects except spiritual aspect of quality of life ,the overall rating score and the total score of the two groups have significant differences(P﹤0.05).Conclusions:1,The quality of life level of inpatients with AIDS is lower than the average level. Physical symptoms, negative psychology,the strangeness of the environment,lack of related knowledges as well as the family social support were the major factors of the quality of life .Therefore, nurses should focus on strengthening health education and psychology care and help patients build social support system, during the course of clinic nursing care.2,The nursing needs of inpatients with AIDS are in high level .The top three are self-relized needs,physical needs as well as love and belonging needs.The nursing needs of inpatients with AIDS are negative related to the quality of life as well as the psychological,physical and independeant field.They allhave statistical significant. Therefore,nurse shoule pay attention to the correlation between nursing needs and quality of life and work out an appropriate intervention program to improve the patients'quality of life.3,The effective intervention programs aimed at nursing needs inpatients with AIDS have positive effection in improving overall quality of life and the all fields of quality of life of inpatients with AIDS .And the intervention program can be used in AIDS clinic nursing and evaluate the effect further.
