Study On Quality Standard Of Lepidogrammitis Drymoglossoides Ching

Objective:Lepidogrammitis drymoglossoides Ching is long term used ethnic medicinal plant with obvious curative effect in folk. The study is to establish reliable methods for evaluating the quality of the herb and provide reference for its Chinese Pharmacopoeia record.Methods:Studied on botanical and macroscopical identification of Lepidogrammitis drymoglossoides Ching by investigation of related literatures; TLC methods were established for identification and chlorogenic acid was used as reference substance; the content of active component chlorogenic acid was determined by UV and HPLC and methods were validated of linearity, precision, stability, repeatability; establish the bioassay method based on antibiotic effect.Results:It is whole herb of Lepidigrammitis drymoglossoides(Bak.)Ching (family Polypodiaceae); TLC was well-established and can be used for identification of the plant, and the content of chlorogenic acid by HPLC was(?) 0.68%; There was a linear relationship between dose and effect in the special concentration range with good correlation, and the bioassay potent was initially defined as(?) 0.8000U/mL. Conclusions:The quality control standard is preliminary established, and the methods are feasible and reliable. The proposed quality standards would be its basis of Chinese Pharmacopoeia record.
