Objective:To study the correlation of Clinical stage, pathological types and degree of differentiation of tumor cells in the esophageal cancer between sensitivity of chemotherapy drugs with tumor cells, to provide theoretical guidance for esophageal cancer chemotherapy. Methods:Clinical diagnosis of surgical resection specimens of esophageal cancer were detected with Chemotherapy drug sensitivity test by ATP-TCA to study the correlation of clinicaistage, pathological types and degree of differentiation of tumor cells between sensitivity of chemotherapy drugs with tumor cells..Results:The efficiency of chemotherapy of TAX, DDP,Fu for esophageal cancer is 44.286%,41.423%,40.000%, The efficiency of chemotherapy of VP16, ADM,MMC,HCPT,IFO for esophageal cancer is 17.143%,31.429%,25.714%,20.000%,24.286%, efficiency of chemotherapy of TAX, DDP,Fu is higher than VP16, ADM,MMC,HCPT,IFO, the difference is statistically significant, p<0.05.In clinical stage, effective rate of other drug in III stage is more higher than other stage. For degree of differentiation of tumor cells, except HCPT,effective chemotherapy rate of poorly differentiated carcinoma is more higher than well-differentiated cancer and middle-differentiated cancer. Conclusion:Sensitivity of esophageal cancer chemotherapy drug is significantly different, DDP TAX FU are more efficient drugs for esophageal cancer. DDP TAX IFO are more efficient drugs for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Cancer of different clinical stages is not significant difference in chemotherapy efficiency. Effective chemotherapy rate of poorly differentiated carcinoma is more higher than well-differentiated cancer and middle-differentiated cancer.
