Severe Lumbar Spondylolisthesis: A Case Report

Objective:To investigate the surgical treatment and fusion material of severe lumbar spondylolisthesis.Method:Analyze the diagnosis and treatment of a severe lumbar spondylolisthesis case, summarize the surgical treatment experience of severe lumbar spondylolisthesis.Result:Reduction, decompression, internal fixation and fusion with autograft and plating was a excellent surgical technique to the severe lumbar spondylolisthesis.Conclusion:After nonoperative therapy, moderately severe lumbar spondylolisthesis has overt symptom remained should treated by operation. Reduction, decompression, and fusion with autograft and plating were the critical procedure in the operation, the selection of the surgiral mothed and the fusion material should be individualized.
