Objective: The diagnostic value of 64-row spiral computed tomoguaphic reconstruction post-processing technology applied in torso bone injuries in Yushu earthquake is discussed to provide scientific basis for the injury assessment and operation-selecting of clinical preoperation .Materials and Methods: 324 wounded soldiers in Yushu earthquake ,who are transported gradually to Qinghai province people's hospital for treatment nearly a month after Yushu earthquake ,are examined by 64-row spiral CT. Pure limb fractures and craniocerebral injuries are eliminated .The imaging findings of Post-processing images of 105 patients that meeting the conditions are analysed and summarized.Results: Among the105 patients with the trunk bone injury, 46 patients are female, 59 patients are male .The age of the patients ranges from 9 to 78 and the average age is 38 years old. Among the patients ,there are 54 patients with thoracic injury(51.4%); 44 patients with spine fracture (41.9%);33 patients with pelvic fracture(31.4%); 18 patients with both thoracic injury and spine fracture(17.1%); 8 patients with both pelvic fracture and spine fracture(7.6);7 patients with celiac visceral injury (6.7%).Conclusion: a:There are large numbers of casualties in Yushu earthquake. Patients with torso bone fractures in earthquake is more serious than patients in other accident . The qualitative and positioning diagnosis of multiple compound damage can be made with 64-row spiral CT. b: 64-row spiral CT can be made scanning in the second level and big range volume. c: Fracture of every part of body, anatomical configuration of injury and lesions details can be displayed in the stereo ,visualized and accurate way with post-processing image .The misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis can be minimized extremely. Scientific basis can be provided for the injury assessment and operation-selecting of clinical pre-operation.
