ObjectiveIn the scientific research and clinical work of oral and maxillofacial surgery, thecommon cause of maxillofacial tissue defect is the tumour of maxillofacial region,trauma, congenital diseases and so on. Jaw bone and soft tissue defect not only results inoral and maxillofacial physiological function obstacle, and also can influence thepsychological of patients, so the repair and reconstruction of tissue defect especially jawbone defect has become one of the urgently solved problem of the oral and maxillofacialsurgery area and category. In recent years the development of all kinds of inorganic andorganic, and has the biocompatibility of bone substitute broaden the bone defect inrepair and rebuild areas,and the bone scaffolds materials for this problem provide afeasible solution. After a series of animal experiments confirmed the inorganic inducedfactor compound scaffolds have good biocompatibility, and when plant to the marrowdefect area in the degradation of process can be released with bone growth entrainmentby certain proportion of form and inorganic element, thus promote bone tissueproliferation, differentiation and new bone formation. For the clinical applicationresearch provides the reliable theory basis, and can be used to one of the materials aboutrepair the defect of the human body jaw.The experimental research is to observe the patients with the defect of the jaw bone whouse the inorganic induced factor compound scaffolds to repair by the64slice128layerspiral CT. Intention according to the experimental data to better confirmed the functionof the scaffolds materials in aspects of promote bone. Aims to provide more accurate intuitive imaging basis for material treatment.Methods138such patients treated in Choose in Anhui Provincial Hospital oral and maxillofacialsurgery from January2008to December2010. All patients have panorex film and spiralCT image in preoperative. Surgery is using surgical incision and shaved the pathologicalchanges by the same group surgeon. Exposed bone lesions then removing surface bonecyst, completely shaved their bursa wall, then the experimental group put the materialsinto the defect, layered contrapuntal suture wound after blood infiltrating material in thestay bone cavity. The control group contrapuntal suture wound without any scaffoldsmaterials. The two groups of patients return visit after1,3,12months, analyzes the CTresults, and the result will be a comparative study.ResultsThrough CT results show that the control group is not do any repair measures,destruction of bone cyst not good repaird, can just rely on the patient’s own bone repair,speed is relatively slow, so bone mineral density and preoperative is the same as. Butthe experimental group because of put the prefabricated type inorganic active elementscaffolds materials into the bone cavity, all the patients are taken good repair, and68.12%of patients with normal bone recovery bone specimens.ConclusionsInorganic active induction element scaffolds materials can effectively promote bone cellgrowth and differentiation, when it used for bone defect repair and also can improve itsosteogenesis characteristics. Spiral CT3D reconstruction technique on the materialproperties of bone provides accurate, intuitive imaging basis.
