The Association Of Preptin And OxLDL With Patients With Type2 Diabetic Microangiopathy

ObjectiveDiabetic microangiopathy is critical complications of diabetes. It is correlated with hyperglycemia, Polyalcohol metabolic Disorder, cell apopsis, cytokine, free radical, and so on. To investigate the changes of serum oxidized low-density lipoprotein (oxLDL),high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) and preptin (a peptide hormone secreted by pancreas isletβcells) of type2 diabetic and the association with microangiopathy.MethodsWe chose 116 type2 diabetic in the ward of endocrinology department of tongji hospital, according to albuminuria, divided them into 41 of normal albuminuria, 40 of microalbuminuria and 35 of macroalbuminuria. Also divided them into 73 of non-proliferating retinopathy and 43 of proliferating retinopathy. 30 control groups. Check the serum hsCRP, oxLDL, blood-lipid, HbA1c, micro albuminuria, fasting blood glucose and fasting blood insulin, and the relationship between them were also analyzed.ResultsOxLDL and hsCRP were significantly higher in the diabetics than controls, in the macroalbuminuria groups than the normal albuminuria and microalbuminuria, and also in the proliferating retinopathy groups than the non-proliferating ones. There was positive correlation between oxLDL and hsCRP(r= 0.4023,P=0.0005). Preptin in type2 diabetes is lower than that in controls, and in diabetes with microvessel complications is lower than diabetes.ConclusionsHigh levels of serum oxLDL and hsCRP are indicators of microangiopathy of diabetes and also accelerate the development of microangiopathy of diabetes. Preptin declines in type2 diabetes, preptin may play a part in the metabolize of glucose and lipid in type2 diabetes and insulin resistance to a certainty.
