The Study Between Serum Resistin Level And Related Factor In Patients With Acute Cerebral Infarction

Objective To measure the level of serum resistin in patients with atherosclerotic acute cerebral infarction(ACI),analyse the correlation among resistin and clinical neurological deficit,infarct volume and some parameters of glucose metabolism,lipid metabolism and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),and investigate the relationship between serum Resistin level and related factor in the Patient with ACI.Methods To measure standard height,weight,waist circumference,hip circumference and SBP,DBP ,to calculate BMI and WHR of sixty-eight patients with acute anterior circulation cerebral infarction and eighty healthy subjects. The level of serum resistin was determined by ELISA method.Meantime,the levels of insulin,fasting blood glucose(FPG),triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)and hs-CRP were detected and analyed the correlation between resistin and them.Quantitative insulin sensitivity check index(QUICKI)were calculate.Detect neurological deficit at next morning and based on NIHSS to designatied them into mild,moderate and severe groups;Calculate the volume of infarction within three days by CT/MRI and designatied them into small,medium and junior group;Analysised the relationship resistin with them.Results 1,There were no significant difference among the sex,age and BMI between ACI group and the control group(P>0.05).2,The serum levels of FPG,TC,TG, FINS,LDL-C and hs-CRP ,SBP,DBP,WHR in ACI group were significantly higher than those in the control group,the HDL-C and QUICKI were lower than those in the control group,there were signif icant (P<0.05). . 3,The serum levels of Resistin in ACI group were significantly higher than it in the control group(P<0.01).4,The Single factor linear correlation analysis showed that the Resistin had positively correlation with SBP,DBP,BMI,FINS,FPG,LDL-C and hs-CRP (P<0.05),and had negatively correlation with QUICKI and HDL-C(P<0.05).No relationship was found among resistin and TC,TG,WHR (P>0.05).5,Taking Resistin as the dependent variable and other markers as the independent variables,multiple stepwise regression analysis was performed and showed that the Resistin was positively correlated with BMI,SBP and hs-CRP(P<0.05) , while negatively correlated with HDL-C,QUICKI(P<0.01).6,Multiple non-conditional Logistic regression analysis showed that ACI was posit- ively correlated with Age,Resistin,SDP,TG (P<0.05),while negatively correlated with HDL-C,QUICKI(P<0.01).Conclusions 1,the higher serum resistin level was related factor of acute cerebral infarction.2,The serum resistin level of acute cerebral infarction was correlated with volume of infarction and serves degree.3,The serum resistin level of male was higher than female.
