| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of the treatment of knee osteoarthritis (KOA)by oral os Shexiangwulong pill,and to explore its efficacy and safety .Methods: Adopt a randomized controlled method by randomly divided 60 cases KOA into the treatment group (Shexiangwulong pill group) and the control group (Anti-bone hyperplasia tablet group) 30 patients in each.The treatment group:Oral Shexiangwulong pill, 30 pills,2 / day,continuous taking 30 days.The control group: Oral anti-bone hyperplasia tablet,four tablets, 2 / day,continuous taking 30 days. Before and after the treatment by Western Ontario-McMaster University Osteoarthritis Survey Scale (W0MAC), from joint pain, stiffness and physical function of three aspects to conduct efficacy evaluation.Record TCM symptoms and pain as well as record visual analog scale (VAS) pain index for analysis.Result: 1. Both groups after treatment than those before treatment WOMAC improvement of various indicators,the difference has very significant (P <0.01),and proved that the treatment and control groups can improve the KOA in patients with varying degrees of various clinical indicators. After treatment between the two groups WOMAC pain score,difficulties of joint activities points and total points of comparison,significant difference (P <0.05),treatment group was more effective than the control group.The two groups after treatment in patients with visual analog scale (VAS) pain index than that pre-treatment significantly reduced,but the two indices in the treatment of pain was no significant difference.Two symptom scores after treatment than before treatment decreased (P <0.05),there was significant difference,treatment group and the control group symptom scores compared with,in addition to encountered cold increase (P<0.05),there are significant differences,the remaining symptom scores showed no significant difference (P> 0.05),and proved in cold symptoms aggravated in treatment group was better than control, and the rest is in effect.Both Shexiangwulong pill and Anti-bone hyperplasia tablet can improve the clinical symptoms of KOA,Shexiangwulong pill in improving clinical symptoms is better than Anti-bone hyperplasia tablet.2. Clinical evaluation results show that The total effective treatment and control significant rate 96.67% and 76.66%,and the control group was 93.33% and 60%,the overall efficiency and control groups significant rate,there was no significant difference (P > 0.05).Conclusion: After the preliminary clinical research shows,She xiang wu long pill for KOA joint pain, joint stiffness, joint swelling, joint tenderness,joint function has obviously improved function, etc.And point out it has powerful analgesia,rapid,prevent joint deformities,detumescence,improve patients recover joint function,in order to further expand the life quality of clinical application.
