Objective1 To explore the feasibility, security and clincal effect of radiofrequency ablation in combinition with bone cementplasty.2 To observing the clinic effect of radiofrequency ablation in combinition with bone cementplasty in the treatment with bone metastatic tumor by comparing with bone cementplasty alone.Materials and methods28 patients with 56 lesions were enrolled in our study and all patients were randomly selected. For each patient, two leisions which had the most severe pain were selected to put up either bone cement angioplasty or radiofrequency ablation in combination with bone cement angioplasty. we use VAS pain score to assess the severity of the pian before operation and 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 24 weeks after operation. Wilcoxon Signed Test was used to assesed the difference of pain scores before and after operation in different observing time among different groups. P <0.05 was considered statistic significant. We comute the rate of alleviating 1 day,1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 24 weeks after operation Pearson chi-square was used to assess the variance of pain alleviating rate between the two method and P<0.05 was considered statistic significant.Results1,Therapeutic alliance group:pain score of postoperation 1 day and pain difference mean of pretherapy, pain score of postoperation 1 week and pain difference mean of pretherapy, pain score of postoperation 2 week and pain difference mean of pretherapy, pain score of postoperation 4 week and pain difference mean of pretherapy, pain score of postoperation 8 week and pain difference mean of pretherapy, pain score of postoperation 12 week and pain difference mean of pretherapy, pain score of postoperation 24 week and pain difference mean of pretherapy, pain score of postoperation and pain difference mean of pretherapy is 5.39±1.100,5.19±1.139,5.43±1.103,5.14±1.201,5.41±1.069,5.29±1.213,5.64±1.224 respectively. All the mean is of significant difference meaning.Bone cement group: pain score of postoperation 1 day and pain difference mean of pretherapy, pain score of postoperation 1 week and pain difference mean of pretherapy, pain score of postoperation 2 week and pain difference mean of pretherapy, pain score of postoperation 4 week and pain difference mean of pretherapy, pain score of postoperation 8 week and pain difference mean of pretherapy, pain score of postoperation 12 week and pain difference mean of pretherapy, pain score of postoperation 24 week and pain difference mean of pretherapy is 4.82±0.905,4.75±1.041,4.63±1.149,4.54±1.121,4.46±1.138,4.64±1.162,4.71±1.243 respectively. All the mean is of significant difference meaning.2,One week after operation ,the rate of pain alleviating between the two methods was 67.9%,89.3%,respectively.In two weeks after operation ,the rate is 60.7%,85.7%,respectively and 4 week pain was 53.6%and 82.1% ;8 week was 42.8%and 75.0%; 12 weeks was 50.0%and 78.6%.when the following time was 24 weeks, the relieving rate was 53.6%and 78.6%,respectively ,P<0.05 in all the observing time . There is no difference in the alleviating rate between the two methods just one day after operation ,P>0.05.Conclusion1 The radiofrequency ablation combination with bone cementplasty is feasibility in treatment with bone metastatic tumor and it has the characterestic of alleviating fast and little complication 2 The effect of radiofrequency ablation in combination with bone cementplasty is superior to bone cementplasty alone in alleviating pain . Is possible that the effect of former is prior of latter in preventing the leison size from expanding either.
