Experimental Study Of The Intervention Of Simiao Yongan Decoction On Metabolic Syndrome With Prethrombolic State

Objective:To study the interventional effects and mechanism of"Simiao Yongan decoction (SMYA decoction)"on rats of Metabolic Syndrome(MetS) with Prethrombotic State(PTS). Methods:To set up pathological model of MetS with PTS, rats were given small dose streptozotocin (STZ) by intraperitoneal injection and feed with high-carbohydrate and high-fat diet. Observing: body weight(BW),random blood glucose(RBG),fasting blood glucose(FBG),insulin(Ins),Homeostasis Model Assessment- Insulin Resistance(HOMA-IR), Platelet Aggregation rate(PAG),Thromboxane A2(TXA2) and von Willebrand factor(vWF) in serum. Results:After 8 weeks,the rats of blank group,model group and SMYA decoction group were no evident statistics differences; but compared with blank group, the last weight and the growth of weight of the model group were lower(p<0.01),the RBG,Ins,HOMA-IR,PAG5,PAGmax,TXA2 and vWF of the model group were higher(p<0.05;p<0.01); compared with the model group, the last weight and the growth of weight of the SMYA decoction group were no evident statistics differences, the RBG,Ins,HOMA-IR,PAG5,PAGmax,TXA2 and vWF of t the SMYA decoction group were lower(p<0.05;p<0.01). Conclusion:â‘ SMYA decoction could reduce the Ins and HOMA-IR of rats of MetS with PTS,and could intervene IR.â‘¡SMYA decoction could make the PAG,TXA2,vWF of rats of MetS with PTS lower,and intervene their PTS.The effect may be through inhibiting platelet aggregation and protecting endothelial system function to fulfill.â‘¢SMYA decoction was originally used in treating the serious complications of MetS,but in this research it was used to intervene the MetS with PTS.This indicates that we can use the decoctions that we used to treat the serious complications of MetS to intervene MetS.This not only enriches the"preventive treatment of disease"idea of Traditional Chinese Medicine,but also expends the clinical applied scope of SMYA decoction.
