Objective: to summarize the treatment of senile PFNA tifert intertrochanteric fractures of the preliminary experience.Methods: from January 2009 - analysis between January 2011, our elderly were 20 cases intertrochanteric fracture patients, age 65-92, average 73 years. 9 cases of men and women (11). According toⅠtype Evans partingⅡtype in 8 cases, 7 cases, 3 casesⅣⅢtype, type 2 cases). All cases were adopted from PFNA internal fixation for hospital to surgery, time for 1 to 4 days (average 2.5 days). This patient follow-up of periodic review of X-ray the X-ray, observe the functional recovery respectively in pain, mobility and on foot, ability, the daily life and the sat five items Harris function indicator-based assessment fracture healing scoring systemResults: the average 20 cases of the sick 50min (40 ~ surgical time 70min), average 95ml (60 ~ 130ml bleeding). Postoperative patients recovered well and no complications and postoperative 1 week can actually help turn to walk. All patients 4 ~ 15 months follow-up, an average of nine months, the follow-up period 1 patients without the occurrence of death and complications.Because of surgical trauma is lesser, had not been found perioperative complications, this wound infection without 1 cases. All the sick and had good hip activities shortening or deformity, lower reference Korea life [3] such as the method of comprehensive score with hip, 39 ~ 44 into optimal, 28 ~ 38 into good, 18 ~ 27 into can, less than 18 into poor, curative effect of dykes 94.8%) have satisfactory cosmetic.Conclusion: the treatment of senile PFNA intertrochanteric fractures, with small trauma, less bleeding, operation time is short and postoperative reactions to prevent long-term bed produces all sorts of complications, can be in clinical use extensively.
