Removable Partial Dentures On Abutment Teeth Of The Clinical Analysis

Objective:To compare patients with different oral hygiene habits, denture design on abutment classification and caries and periodontal disease effects of removable partial denture patients three years after the insertion of denture base tooth caries and periodontal conditions analyze the reasons for the daily clinical work for the future to provide a reference.Method:Case analysis, visit 192 patients (of 255 dental,571 abutments) insertion of removable partial dentures dental caries and periodontal disease based upon the situation, through the classification of denture design, design types and oral health status in patients with different data collection, and the collected data were statistically analyzed and concluded.Results:The insertion of removable partial denture after abutment teeth caries was 23.64%,17.34% prevalence of periodontal disease. Classification of different design, design types, and both good and bad oral hygiene on caries and periodontal disease abutments were significantly different, and the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:The wearing removable partial denture abutment teeth in patients likely to cause decay and periodontal disease, denture design categories, design type is caused by dental caries and periodontal disease based an important factor, while a direct impact on oral health of patients dental caries and periodontal disease based occurred. Thus, in ordinary clinical work, the rational design of prosthesis to enhance the patient's oral hygiene education and the proper method of rational use of dentures, caries and periodontal disease should be cause for the cause to take early preventive measures.
