Objective:To analyze the clinical and pathological character of breast cancer patients in female between the nations of Uyghur and Han. Methods:From January 2006 to December 2009, the female patients of Uyghur and Han nations with primary breast cancer in Affiliated Tumor Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University were reviewed and compared with clinical and pathological character, including the age, first symptom, duration of disease, tumor size and location, histological type, clinical TNM stage, lymph node status and hormonal receptor status, retrospective analyzed by statistical methods. Results:There were 683 cases can be selected, including 536 Han patients and 147 Uyghur patients. Compared with Han patients, Uyghur patients'average pathogenic age were younger than Han patients, the duration of disease was longer and the tumor size was bigger than Han, and there were more advanced stage of clinical TNM of Uyghur patients, the number of metastatic lymph node was more than Han patients, the proportion of positive expression of C-erbB-2 was higher than Han(P<0.05); most first symptom of two nation patients both were painless mass, and the tumor main location had no different between two nations. Most historical type of two nations both were nonspecific invasive carcinoma, and ER, PR was not significantly different between two nations(P>0.05). Conclusion:Uyghur breast cancer patients had a small proportion in this group, and the ratio of two nations was about 1:4. Compared with the result of prognosis indicators between two nations, the prognosis of Uyghur women with breast cancer may be worse than Han.
