OBJECTIVE:1. To investigate the point of the laboratory teaching of nursing, and analyze the influencing factors the quality of the laboratory teaching of nursing.2. To constructe the quality-evaluation index system of the laboratory teaching of nursing with higher reliability and validity.METHODS:The scale using for teach-supervising experts: The quality-evaluation indicator system was constructed using literature study, investigation on laboratory and Delphi. Then the Precedence Chart and Analytic Hierarchy Process was adoped to ensure the index's weight.The scale using for students: The item pool was based on literature study and investigation on the classroom teaching of laboratory education. Firstly, the preliminary scale was developed through specialist valuation; then it was reviewed by 10 students and specialists again; At last, 200 students were surveyed and based on the pilot data, a series of statistic analysis was conducted such as t-test, factor analysis, etc . To deduce the items to 23 and ensured the weight of indicators.RESULTS1.The primary influencing factors of the quality of the laboratory teaching of nursing respectively are laboratory teachers'procession and diathesis; the contents of laboratory teaching; the methods of laboratory teaching; the equipments of laboratory teaching and the condition of the laboratory.2. The quality-evaluation index system of the laboratory teaching of nursing were constructed:(1)The scale using for experts was formed by 7 items of level 1and 29 items of level 2 of the index system. The authority coefficient of the experts was 0.86. The Kendall's W was higher in the second round than in the first round.(2)The scale using for students has 5 items of level 1and 23 items of level 2 of the indicator system. Psychometric tests with the application of stringent criteria confirmed the test-retest reliability ( ICC = 0.956), internal consistency (Cronbach'sα= 0.881), construct validity ( factor analysis confirms the hypothesis of the scale), and acceptability ( response rate 98.0%, effective rate 93.9%).CONCLUSION:1. The primary problems in the progress of laboratory teaching of nursing: the laboratory teachers'procession are not enough optimize and the number is very lack; the equipments of laboratory teaching are not closely connect with clinical practicality; the laboratory field and the number of equipments of laboratory teaching are not satisfied with students'requirement. The nursing academies should energetically advance the innovation of laboratory teaching of nursing.2. The evaluation scale using for teach-supervising experts and The evaluation scale using for students is constructed which can be used to evaluate laboratory teaching of nursing.
