BackgroundChronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease(CPID) is a common gynecology disease whose characteristic is the long course and refractory touching. It's major complication contains dysgenesia, ectopic pregnancy, irregular menses, pelvic cavity venous congestion, etc, which worried the patients and their families. ObjectivesBy observing and analyzing the clinical effect in treating CPID by Moxibustion with Warming Needle to provide some theoretical basis for the treatment. MethodsSixty CPID patients were collected from gynecology department and acupuncture department, all of whom were divided into the treatment group and the control group at random. The treatment group were mainly treated with Moxibustion with Warming Needle, and the controls were treated with Man Pen Soup. Evaluate the effect after 3 courses. Record the main symptoms and signs integra of the two groups, establish the database, and analyze them by SPSS17.0 software package. ResultAfter three course of treatment, the totel effective rate is 89.66% in the treatment group, while it is 70.00% in the control group, there is significant difference between them (P<0.05). The curative effect of the treatment group is better than that of the control group. The two methods both can improve the main symptoms and signs of CPID, but the same between the two groups has significant difference. ConclusionCompared with medicine, Moxibustion with Warming Needle was more effective in improving symptoms and signs. In summary, Moxibustion with Warming Needle has more significantly clinical effect, and this method of treatment is strongly recommend to clinical.
