| Objective:To comprehend the views of male-female relationships of Macao young people, understand their attitudes towards sex. Investigate adolescent factors influencing sexual attitudes, to explore the knowledge standard of STD /AIDS of the teenagers in Macau, and what kind of consequences those sexual concepts of young people will bring aboutMethods:This investigation include 2361 students, they are recruited from 12 secondary schools in Macao, all survey respondents are required on-site to complete the questionnaire independently, health care professional was been on-site to provide help and give assistance. A total of 2358 copies of valid questionnaires were collected. Rate and composition ratio methods were used for the data comparative analysis by SPSS 13.0 statistical software.Results:Survey respondents:95.89% of students are living with their parents, aged mainly between 11 and 19 years of age. Macau Youth generally accepted kissing, hugging and holding hands during dating; with 0.28 percent agree to have sex while dating.11.92% strongly agree to accept premarital sex, even 0.12% can be agreed to exchange material and money through sex. Understanding of the cohabitation has been more common, with 23.95% of agreement. The Internet, young people, film and television were the main channel for knowledge about sex. in Macau Most young people in Macao are lack of correct understanding of sexually transmitted diseases and sexual knowledge,22.54% think that STD/AIDS cannot be prevented, on the knowledge of common sexually transmitted diseases and AIDS and not comprehensive enough.Conclusion:Macau Youth are mostly open-minded on sexual concept; however, their sexual knowledge is weak. TV, networks and film entertainment media are the most effective tool for spreading sexual ideas. Macau Youth's sexual knowledge, sexually transmitted diseases and knowledge of AIDS is weak and this is mostly related to the incomplete education.
