Objective: To investigate the demographic characteristics and high risk behaviors of HIV/AIDS among men who have have sex with men(MSM) in Shijiazhuang City, to study the situation of grasping the knowledge and accept-ting the intervention service,to know the status of HIV infection, Syphilis infection and Hepatitis C, so as to provide evidence for comprehensive control measures.Methods : From January to June in 2014,400 MSM who had anal or oral intercourse with another man in the past year were sampled by snowball sampling method, MSM crowd recruit in activity places, network recruit and VCT, the Peer education who were trained could assist the project team staff questionnaire and recovery, these samples was investigate their basic demographic,high behavior characteristics,knowledge of HIV/AIDS-related awareness and so on.3-5ml venous blood samples were obtained to detect the related antigens or antibodies of HIV, syphilis, hepatitis C virus. Epidata and SPSS 21.0software were used for data entry and statistical analysis.Result: a total of 400 participants were enrolled.The age of the MSM ranged from16 to 66 years, the median age was 27, those below 30 account for 67.0%. 53.3% with college degree or higher, 31.0%was married or cohabitation, 52.5% MSM was from network and 19.0%was from bath. Most MSM had the first sex at the age of 15-18,and had the first sex with men at the age of 18-23, the curious was the main reason causing the first same sex behavior(56.8%),only 13.0% think they had the first sex with men because they don not like women. The average rate of awareness about AIDS prevention and control was 84.2%, the awareness rate between the route of transmission and non was statistically significant(χ2=53.634 P <0.05).In the recent one year, the achieving ratio of providing condom and peer education was 52.3% and 39.0%. 244 cases(61.0%) had done HIV testing, 161 cases(65.99%) in the center for disease control and prevention, only 27 cases(11.07%) in the hospital, The longest time from the recent test to now is 3 years, the shortest is 5 days, the median is 180 days. 60.3% MSM had lifetime partners who had be together for three months or more, and together of the time mostly in seven months to 2 years.The last six month, 63.5% had sex with men who was not the regular partner, 7.0% had sex with commercial partner, 8.25% had sex with women who was not the regular partner, there is multiple partners among MSM. nearly six moths the ratio of insisted on condom when engaged in coitus with regular sexual partner,non- lifetime partner,commercial sexual partner,wife and FSW was 51.42%, 53.15%, 42.86%, 26.67%, 10.0%. the differentiation was statistically significant(χ2=10.592 P =0.032). there were statistical differences in using condom when MSM had different age, marital status and educational level,more than 25,married,junior middle school and the following had a lower ratio,age was the influence factor for using condom.(OR=0.881). 48 cases(12.0%) were infected HIV, 65 cases(16.3%) were infected syphilis, 1cases(0.3%) was infected hepatitis C.Conclusion: AIDS and syphilis had a higher detection rate and STDS found timely is low. Most of the respondents were unmarried and highly educated. sample source was the network type, to using internet to intervention among MSM will become the main way.promoting PITC would expand coverage for HIV testing. MSM have a separation of knowledge and behavior, strengthen health promotion and developing campaigns to use condoms in sexual intercourse would l be carry out. these factors including low rate of condom use, commercial sex intercourse, STD s, using drugs would accelerate HIV transmission among MSM, Targeted intervention measures including the propaganda materials, peer education, a face-to-face publicity and treat with STD s should be taken to reduce the risk of HIV infection among MSM.
