Objective:To assess the value of routine bone marrow examination (BME) in adult patients suspected ITP or suspected ITP But does not rule out other diseases in patients with possible. Material:Cases selected for the period from February 2002 to August 2009 the first affiliated hospital of Xinjiang Medical University in patients with diagnosis of 112 cases of thrombocytopenia in patients with ITP or simple. Methods:Retrospective analysis of 112 cases elected according to the criteria for patients with bone marrow biopsy results and clinical diagnosis of consistency, Discussion for such patients, Bone marrow puncture and check out other important thrombocytopenia caused by disease, to determine the value of bone marrow biopsy examination in diagnosis of ITP. Result:my research indicated, Criteria 97.3% the bone marrow of patients with reported results in line with the typical bone marrow of ITP, and determine the diagnosis of ITP, also there is a small number of patients with hyperplasia of the bone marrow of bone marrow smear shows reduced, but other cell line does not appear to reduce these patients, clinical performance diagnosis of ITP. and 2.8% of patients initially diagnosed with ITP, but bone wear diagnosis of malignant disease of the hematopoietic system, does not meet the diagnosis of ITP. Conclusions:For clinical diagnosis of ITP and characterized by peripheral blood simple changes, no other specific signs of adults (< 60) patients, bone marrow biopsy is not necessary.
