Objective:To analyze the timely diagnosis and treatment of gestational diabetes on maternal and perinatal prognosis. Methods:A retrospective analysis of the January 2010-December 2010 at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University, diagnosed as gestational diabetes, hospital delivery in patients with complete data were 104 cases of gestational diabetes to analyze the information, according to the information of plasma glycemia control, we classified 104 cases pregnant women with GDM into two group:A group (well controlled plasma glycemia group) and B group (poor controlled plasma glycemia group), according to diagnosis in patients with gestational diabetes during pregnancy were divided into groupâ… (diagnosed before 32 weeks gestation group) and groupâ…¡(diagnosed after 32 weeks pregnant group), compared to maternal complications, perinatal complications and timely diagnosis and treatment of the relationship. Results: The maternal and perinatal complications of he poor controlled plasma glycemia group and the diagnosed after 32 weeks pregnant group were higher than the well controlled plasma glycemia group and the diagnosed before 32 weeks gestation group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), and the mainly complications are hypertensive disorders in pregnancy and premature rupture of membranes (26.19%). Conclusion: Timely diagnosis of diabetes, strict control of plasma glycemia, insulin use emphasis to strengthen the perinatal period of monitoring, timely termination of pregnancy is the key to treatment of gestational diabetes, is to reduce maternal complications and perinatal morbidity of major means.
