Objective:To investigate the different ethnic groups with essential hypertension (essential hypertension, EH) 24 h of serum electrolytes and urinary electrolyte and the correlation between blood pressure. Methods:local resident by different ethnic groups in Xinjiang Han, Uygur (Uighur short), Kazak (Kazakh short) for serum electrolytes,24 h urinary electrolyte and 24 h ambulatory blood pressure (24 h ambulato ry blood p ressure, ABP) examination to compare blood and urine levels of electrolytes and blood pressure and the correlation between the differences between peoples. Results:(1) Han, Uygur, Kazak EH group, urinary sodium, urine sodium and potassium ratio was higher than NT group (P<0.05); (2) group and the Uygur Han NT NT group hematuria was no statistical difference between the electrolyte significance (P>0.05); NT group Kazak urinary sodium, urinary sodium and potassium ratio higher than that of Han Chinese, and Uighur ratio of urinary sodium and potassium compared to sodium-potassium ratio in urine Kazak Uyghur above. (3) group and the Uygur Han EH EH group compared urine electrolytes were no significant differences between (P>0.05); Kazakh ethnic group potassium EH, Han EH group than urinary potassium, urinary sodium, urinary sodium and potassium ratio higher than Han EH group. (4) Han, Uygur, Kazak EH group of potassium, urinary potassium and blood pressure levels were significantly negatively correlated; serum sodium potassium ratio, urinary sodium and urinary sodium and potassium ratio was positively correlated with blood pressure, serum sodium levels were not associated with blood pressure; (6) Han, Uygur, Kazak high blood pressure and urinary sodium, potassium, blood pressure related to the ratio of the largest coefficient of correlation was especially Kazak. Conclusion:The blood and urine electrolytes and blood pressure have a certain degree of correlation between different ethnic groups, and there are some differences. On the positive step-down process, should guide people to improve the lifestyles, concerns the level of hematuria and blood pressure relationship between the electrolyte, reducing the daily sodium intake while maintaining adequate intake of potassium, sodium and potassium ratio decreased, especially in urinary sodium and potassium ratio.
