Objective:to investigate the application of indocyanine green (ICG) video angiography during microsurgery for parasagittal meningioma.Methods:7 patient with parasagittal meningioma who under went intraoperative video angiography during microsurgical resection were retrospectively analyzed. Pre-resection and post-resection ICG video angiography were intraoperatively observed. and the outcome of operation was evaluated by follow up.RESULT:ICG video angiography showed a good evaluation of blood flow in tumoral and peritumoral vessels. total resection was achieved and sagittal sinus with key draining veins were both protected. Good recovery of patient was achieved and no post-operative brain edema was observed. Conclusion:ICG video angiography is a significant method for monitoring blood flow in exposed vessels during microsurgery. It can directly protect sagittal sinus and key draining veins, and play an important role in the conservation of neuron tissue and neurological function.
