Study On Cultivation Mechanism Of General Practitioners' Continuing Medical Education

Background: In 1997, The Chinese government has proposed the strategy of developing urban community health services. Since then, China's health care system has transformed from one system based on hospital systems to two systems, one is based on hospital systems, the other is based on CHS centers and their affiliated stations, they assume separately different function. Since 2006,community health services entered a rapid and substantial period of development. Now it faces some problems, the lack of general practitioner is one of the main problems, especially the lack of high-quality general practitioner. Under the current training model, for those general practitioners who do not receive post-graduate medical education, continuing medical education is very important for general practitioners'career development.Objective: To provide scientific reference to formulate and implement the next plan by investigating the condition of continuing medical education of general practitioners and their demand; To provide theory foundation for perfection of general practitioners'continuing medical cultivation mechanism by policy document analysis; To conceive a new cultivation mechanism of general practitioners'continuing medical education.Contents: To investigate the condition of continuing medical education of general practitioners and their demand; To analyze policy document of continuing medical education of general practitioners. Methods: Literature review; Policy document analysis; Questionnaire survey; Data analysis.Results: We conceive a new cultivation mechanism of general practitioners'continuing medical education.
