ObjectiveIn order to investigate the incidence of preterm IVH in our hosipital;separately analyze the risk factors of sever IVH in early and late preterm.MethodsIn the neonate department of our hosipital ,there were 289 preterm infants departured during January to March in 2010,35 admitted the second time and 64 hadn't done cranial examination during hosipitalization were excluded.Than we analyzed the clinical features of 190 preterm infants and risk factors of sever IVH in early and late preterm infants.Results190 preterms had done cranial US examinations during their hospitalization, incidence of IVH in early and late preterm infants were 87.1%,72.4%,then they were examined by X2 test(chi-square test), there was no significant difference;incidence of severe IVH in early and late preterm infants were 80.6%,59.8%,examined by X2 test(chi-square test), there was significant difference between them;sever IVH in early preterm infants has no relationship with gestational age, birth weight, sex,et al.Sever IVH in late preterm infants was related to pH of gas analysis.ConclutionIVH has high incidence in both early and late preterm infants, but incidence of sever IVH is higher in the former. Late preterm infants who have acidosis, have higher risk of happening severe IVH.All preterm infants should have serial cranial US examination after birth. Late preterm infants who have acidosis,we should pay more attention to.
